On Friday the 16th of September 2022, we were lucky enough to participate in the first ever Grower2Grower golf day which was organised to bring the growing community together and raise money for the Cancer Society.
Anton (director), Jacky (operations manager) and Andre (general manager) set off bright and early for Pukekohe to prep the welcome breakfast we sponsored for the day. Anton and Andre were on the BBQ tools while Jacky and family friend Dan, hit the golf green.
As an event sponsor, we got to set up camp at lucky hole #10, with our stand boasting a chipping challenge. Not surprisingly, only one lucky punter got their ball in but much fun was had by everyone who attempted the shot!
While we didn't win any prizes for our golfing, we had an awesome day catching up with industry growers and suppliers as well as meeting some new faces.
A huge thanks goes to the team at Grower2Grower for organising such a fantastic event after a hard few years in the industry. We're already looking forward to next time!
